If your name is in blue after tonight, you go straight to finals. If its in white, you can try for any or all nights of semifinals. if it's red, you get to participate in the showcase.

There wasn't a whole lot of performance tonight, but everyone who participated was a good sport about a potentially challenging theme!

JAMIE KM --Phantom Of The Opera-- Nice job, this song is challenging with those vocal switches. But you did great with a dual costume too! Nice work. --What You Won't Do For Love-- The moustache and mullet wig combo always gets me. My only complaint is that you cracked a laugh a few times. When you own the greasy persona, it's SOOOO entertaining!

DANI --Danger High Voltage-- What a fun song! Well done. You sounded good too! --Rain-- Fun fact: The Cult band is the only Cult I like. :) Good job miss Dani!

JAIME D --Angel Of The Morning-- Had a couple of wavering notes in the lows, but that finishing note was sweet redemption! --Country Song-- One line at the end of the chorus seemed unsure every time. But good job with a surprisingly challenging hat pick!

EMERY --I Believe In A Thing Called Love-- Great job for something that goes so high. Not attempting to sing the highs as the song is written is a good choice when you have alternative things to do, which you did. Nice. --Halo-- Great job singing in the octave you can comfortably wrangle!

JASPER --The Look-- Loved the googly eyes gimmick! Loved this! --Don't Stop Believin'-- Great choice in notes. I enjoyed this!

LENORE --You-- Challenging song and I believe you nailed it! --Down In The Boondocks-- Sounded good but I think you should have saved the bribe cookies until your second song! lol.

Thanks again to Aaron Lloyd and Thomas Downing for judging tonight.

Thanks for the entertaining night!

TRACEY --The Best-- Firsty, LOVE your dress! Sounded fantastic too! I love the Tina expressions and moves and dress. You sounded amazing. Those high notes- chills girl!! This is a great song for you! --It's All Coming Back To Me Now-- You were worried about this song for NO REASON!!! Killer Queen! Wow! Beautiful! Those high notes were unbelievable. Incredible job. Awesome band! Way to embrace your inner Celine! You knew the assignment and aced it. Great job.

SARA --Baby One More Time-- It's Britney. Great attitude and sound. Love seeing you commit to the performance. I loved it. You sounded a lot like Britney! Entertaining performance and stage presence. Well done. Sara. You make a way better Britney than I! Great Shimmy Shimmies too! --Toxicity-- Awesome. Great job. I love this song. Your voice fit the song so well. Awesome job! There is a decent range in this song, you did it all well with power. Nice head banging too!

MORGAN --Pink Pony Club-- What an outfit and reveal! You sounded beautiful. Great outfit and expression/performance. You handled struggling to open your jacket, but you didn't miss a beat vocally, nor did it affect your performance. Great costume. Nice dance moves, and well done vocally. --Someone You Loved-- Sounded so nice. Lucky pick from the hat as you did it such wonderful justice. Sounded Great. A lot of passion in those vocals. Well done!

SHIMMY --Feeling Good--Some unsure notes, but good overall. What a change, with putting ON clothing! You OK? Still doing the creepy groan though. Your voice suited this song! It's a tough song, but you powered through it with an entertaining performance! Shmexy Shmigski! Nice control throughout the whole song. Always Love the Shimmy Shimmy. --Up-- Therapists are going to win big clientele from the crowd seeing that. Lol. Wow! I didn't know those were the shorts I was helping to get done up. Maybe we should label them Microshorts. You pulled it off, now put it back on. LOL. So funny! You hit the notes and were very entertaining. Welp... Daisy Duke has entered the chat...

BRIGIT --For The Nights I Can't Remember-- I didn't know this was a Hedley song. Loved it. You Sounded very Pretty! Performance was entertaining, great stage presence. BUBBLES!! Awesome costume! Great present But I needed an adult to get the self-inking stamp to work! --I Don't Wanna Be-- You did this song so well! It sounded so good! Such a cool idea. Powerful vocals, awesome high notes. Very entertaining. A great song for you! You totally owned the stage! Well done.

DANIEL --Jason's Mom-- A couple delayed lines, I think you were just easily distracted though. Poor Jason!! His mom was hot though. You sounded great! Fun song, good energy. Great song! Nice singing, and well suited for you! --Master Of Puppets-- STAY IN CHARACTER!!! Become James Hetfield! That's a dedicated guitarist you had there! You sounded so good!! You did a good job, and you have a very cool guitar player! Your one person mosh pit was fun. Great song again. The long instrumentals are a great time to get those performance points in. Overall vocal performance well done.

THOMAS --By The Way-- You sounded really good in this song. Good job! Your voice suited this song. Those fast parts are tough, but you sounded great. Great use of the floor, and stage presence! Keep it up. --Welcome To The Jungle-- You had some bum notes, but you sorted out the vocal styling and sounded pretty decent. Great energy! Good use of the stage. It's a tough song to sing. Very tough song. Way to power through! Great energy.

CLAIRE --To Love Somebody-- LOVE the power tonight! You sounded fantastic! You have such a pretty voice! I always enjoy listening to you sing. Don't be afraid to move around the stage more, but it sounded lovely. This is a great song for your voice. --The Power Of Love-- This was also a good song for you. I enjoy hearing you sing. Good stage presence/performance, great outfit. Some timing issues, but overall very nice. Cool band! Another good song choice for you.

DAVID --Mississippi Squirrel Revival-- This was a good song for you. Also liked the performance. Very entertaining. Very fun, and you sounded good! The song is a mouthful. Nice job on the performance! --(You Drive Me) Crazy-- It's like having two Shimmy's, with three with our son here too. Loving the community Britney wig! lol. So fun! Love it! You owned that outfit, and you entertained everyone. Crazy is right, I've never seen leggings, and a green sports bra worn like that before, well done David.

CALBERT --Man In The Box-- Didn't do too bad. I love having your smiley self around here. You are so effortlessly entertaining. You made me smile. Good performance. Tricky song, and you made it your own! --Always Remember Us This Way-- Good job, I like it. You seemed more comfortable with this song, and more confident. Good job. I can see how much you appreciate this song, way to make it your own.

JOCELYN --In The End-- Great expression! It has some fast parts, so if you don't know the song by heart it's hard to keep up. Overall vocally sounded good. You got good lungs, that last note lasted a long time. This is a tough song to catch up with when one falls behind. You had fun up there and you pushed through. Try not to cup the mic though... --I'm Like A Bird-- Ok, I love the attitude, the expression and dynamic, but when you get into the highly expressive (screamy) loud parts, pull that mic back a lot. And don't cup the mic cause it makes everything impossible to EQ. Don't change anything else! So fun and entertaining. You had me laughing. I liked your performance. Some interpretive dance, adding some comedy and a random feather in the hair is a nice touch.

BRUCE --The Wreck Of Edmund Fitzgerald-- Good song for you. I liked it. Mostly on time too! You sounded good. You had pretty good timing, but timing was off in some spots. More performance would have been awesome, but otherwise, well done. Although there were timing issues, you are demonstrating improvement. --The Sound Of Silence-- Good expression Bruce! You seemed more comfortable with the higher notes. You had lots of power behind them. Very tough song to keep time with, but you definitely showed passion.

Thank you again to Jamie King-Murphy and Emery Flaterud for judging tonight.

If your name is in blue after tonight, you go straight to finals. If its in white, you can try for any or all nights of semifinals. if it's red, you get to participate in the showcase.

AMANDA --Queen Of Hearts-- You messy girl! Loved the performance though. I enjoy you instructing your assistants when you're singing. It's funny. Love the outfit. It was fun playing with the Queen of Hearts! Last place for alcohol abuse. --It's Raining Men-- OK I was busting a gut on this. You had every detail nailed down. And where else can you find so many guys like that but Crackers on a Thursday? lol That was awesome in every way! Great voice, amazing concept and the men!! Oh the men! Love the detail to the mic. I think I almost died it was so good.

TRACI --Are You Gonna Be My Girl?-- Oh poor Mark. Good job Traci! Great expression, love your voice. Great performance. You're gonna have to try harder to get that girl I guess. --When The Heartache Is Over-- The Tara mask was a clever and golden idea. Sounded fantastic on both songs. Fantastic dress. I really loved your voice singing this song. Captivating. The Tara mask was a hilarious touch. The mask was fantastic, very well done.

KODY --Mack The Knife-- Mark's a nice guy. Why are you always picking on him?Sounded fantastic! Loved the show! Your vocals are so impressive. Nicely done, enjoyed the extra performance. --That's Not My Name-- Such a sassy boy tonight. Loved the many faces of Kody. Great hair, had me fooled! That's not your hair! That's not your hair! What's your name? oh that's not your name.

TARA --Lovely Day-- I forgot this song existed, sounded awesome. Thanks for the nap. You chose coffee over me though. Great performance. Love your creativity & the story you told. Coffee does make a lovely day. Loved the start and love coffee too. --I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)-- You are in your element when leading a group of weirdos to chaos. Great workout gear! I truly believe you would walk 5000 miles, especially with that cheering squad behind you. You could sing the song, why were you worried?

CAT --Lose Control-- Nice job. Great emotional expression. Love your outfit. You made the song your own. This is a good song for you. --Little Girl Gone-- First chorus I couldn't hear you over Dani, but you crushed the whole vibe of this song! Chills! Loved it! Love your red boots and your hair is incredible. Kick ass singing too! You should do more scream songs. Love the attitude, Shimmy def deserves it.

SHIMMY --I Wish You Were Here-- Nice job. As always, hilarious & great vocals to boot. At least it wasn't Daisy Dukes. --I Will Survive-- David seemed to enjoy the twerking, so there's that. Gloria would be proud, great job. Clothes, really? Is this a new Shimmy?

DANI --Vienna-- Sounded so nice. Love when you sing smooth songs. It really shows off your voice. You have such a lovely soulful voice. Great job. Never heard the song but it sounded nice. --Think I'm In Love With You-- Ashley must have put this one into the hat. I don't know it, but I think it sounded good. You are inspiring. Great job on this song, loved your vibrato's tone. Very good job on this song.

COLTEN --Chain Of Fools-- This is a hard song cause Aretha is such a show off. Good work into it. Good attempt. That song is so high and you did well. Way to power through this song. --Never Gonna Give You Up-- It was like you planned to pick this song. You sang it so well and the attitude was the bomb! Nice moves. You have Rick's dance perfected. It was like it was really Rick singing too! Great job!! Best Rick Roll ever!

SHAUNA --Complicated-- Pretty great for someone with a sexy raspy sick voice. Love the Avril outfit. NICE TIE. Good job. You really knew the song. --Show Me How To Live-- So good for having a broken voice! You did really well, this song is so hard to sing and I think you did a good job! I think your voice issues help you on this one, the low notes were good and rich.

KEALY --Dragula-- Pretty good timing, great attitude. Great headbanging and use of the stage. Good job! Love how you powered through a tough song for you. --Play That Funky Music-- This song is not too hard til he starts changing keys near the end, and then it goes on and on. Good job rolling with the insanity. Nice disco moves. Good job on the vocals too! Like the dance moves.

JAIME --Black Velvet-- This song everyone knows but it's actually pretty tricky to sing. Don't give up! Just make shit up if you can't remember how it goes. Love the braids.Nice vocals. Nicely done. --Dream On-- I've never heard this song. I'm assuming it was done well. Hard song to sing, you did it well.

AARON --Incomplete-- Glad you sang a song, even though you did not want to. Nice job! Try moving around a bit while you sing. I enjoyed when you started to get more into it.

Thanks again to Brigit Willfong and David Van Der Ploeg for judging tonight!
